Discussion Paper: National Arts Education Ten-Year Plan
As part of its submission to the National Cultural Policy, the National Advocates for Arts Education (NAAE) called for a funded, ten-year national plan for Arts education.
NAAE has developed a draft discussion paper outlining what a National Arts Education Strategy 2027–2037 could involve, including five proposed priorities for action.
This paper is a starting point for dialogue with the Arts education community, rather than a finalised strategy.
Its priorities and proposed actions are intended to be tested, refined and developed through consultation. NAAE welcomes feedback from educators, students, professional associations, artists, cultural organisations and others with an interest in strengthening Arts education across Australia.
